Ange Postecoglou is looking to stamp his authority on this Tottenham squad with some new signings, and one of those to be linked with Spurs in recent days is Jadon Sancho. The England ace has struggled to find his best form at Man Utd since joining from Borussia Dortmund.

Blimey, wasn’t expecting that!

That’s not how it works Ange, it’s utd who launch a 3 month press campaign to unsettle and scoop up our best players!

It does concern me that he hasn't managed to reproduce his Dortmund form since moving to Man Utd. I also haven't been that impressed by him in an England shirt - has always looked inferior to Sterling, Saka, Foden, Rashford, Grealish etc. That said, Rashford has a similar drop-off not so long ago, when he was roughly the same age as Sancho is now.

He can play on either flank, which would make him a useful alternative to Kulusevksi or Son. We could certainly do a worse job of replacing Moura.

Moura doesn't need replacing.

Moura doesn't need replacing.
There were numerous occasions last season when we not only lacked quality attacking options but simply lacked attacking options, due to injuries.

Moura not contributing much last season was an issue, irrespective of whether that was due to ability / form / fitness.

We also had a higher number of games because of Europe and players capable of playing there out on loan. we will also have 2 attacking right wing backs with no actual position to play who are far better in advanced area's. As far as priorities go replacing players that hardly ever played is very low down on the list imo. Anyway I don't believe there is anything in the Sancho rumours, and certainly not for the money being quoted or anything close to it.

I think the ridiculously, borderline suicidal high lines that nearly every team in Germany plays, helped him a lot. In the PL for a top 6 club it's facing mostly low blocks and he doesn't possess the trickery or explosiveness to be effective with a lack of space in behind. I don't really see him making it in the PL tbh.

Have to take this link with a pinch of salt.

But assuming it is true, this is a big part of our budget. A manager's success will depend on whether they get the big signings right.

I give it a week before the Sancho + cash for Kane stories start in the papers. Just the way they work. Planting this story now adds credibility to next weeks bullshit

Porro offered more than him as a right winger and we’ve got Spence and Gil coming back who play that side.

I love his talent, but I don't know much about his character. But we really need player with the level of creativity he is capable of providing, Richarlison and Son are not players we should count on to do a great job opening up the field and playing away from the area like Ange supposedly uses his wingers. But his wages alone makes this unlikely, imo. He probably earns more than anyone here other than Kane. Him and Kulu would be be a nice combo, imo.

We wanted him before he left for Dortmund, but city wouldn’t sell him to us, I think he trained with us as a youngster.

I can think of other areas of the squad where I'd prefer the 50m to be spent. CB and another CB for a start.

Please Ange, sort the CBs out from Day 1!!!! Cannot bear the thought of Dier, Sanchez, Davies etc starting games for us next season. It is finally time to put an end to it.

Then get Raya and Maddison in and we are sorted.
