Poch: Spurs are the side everyone wants to beat

The only way we'll 'earn' respect from the 'experts & professionals' is if we win the lottery and outspend everyone.
I think the damage is done. I think due to our success in the 60's 70's and 80's we got arrogant and probably held on to that arrogance through the 90's when we were awful. This pissed off most of our rivals and their fans.
This is how I view Liverpool tbh, arrogant as fuck but nothing to write home about in the last 10 years. I'd hate it if those ****s won the league and that's probably what a lot of people think about us.

The other issue is that to at least three clubs (Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham) we are probably their most hated rivals. We ain't got it easy!

We need to get us to the level that teams like Wolves are defeated before they turn up. Not that everyone wants to beat us. Probably his point is lost in his translation or use of English. We want teams to be shit scars of playing us. Not with them thinking that they stand a chance.
Not at all, his sentiments are perfectly clear. He is saying that Spurs is being a target.

The perception of Spurs has changed, we are seen as one the top teams to beat, also playing at Wembley is still a draw for several players, so they put in more effort.

It's a credit to us that, that our card is marked, and i doubt Poch will allow his players to drop off mentally.

All we need to do is keep our heads down and keep grinding out the wins
Can't wait to lose the Wembley motivation for other teams. Even an extra 1% is too much

Everybody hates us and we don't care.
I do sometimes think that clubs can accept losing to chelsea and United and City and Liverpool and even Arsenal as they can excuse that because they obviously can't compete with the kind of money they spend but they can't get their heads round how we do what we do without spending that kind of money, it a bit of a reproach to them and the way they run their clubs.
