Have been very underwhelmed with him but thought he didn't do badly today. Probably his best game for us but that isn't saying much. Wasn't the problem though

Don't believe that Conte has handled Bissouma correctly imo.
Confidence in football is sometimes underestimated, he looks abit nervous on the ball and hesitant, can't help but think the comments Conte made earlier in the season and the lack of game time helped him.
Yesterday, up until the first goal, he looked much better and I saw enough to feel he is getting back to what I believe he is, a really good player.
I fear he will be the one to drop out once all our players are fit and we revert to a 3-4-3 .which we inevitable will ....shame because I think we could be about to see a top player get ruined.
Hope I'm wrong.

He was ok yesterday. In fact all of the midfield 3 performed pretty well.

It's not their fault they aren't creative players and the main issue yesterday was our keeper, defence and wing backs. Our midfield were actually playing well up until their first goal and even after that the 3 of them were our better performers.

Excellent tonight, broke things up and got things moving. More to come from him as he grows in confidence.

Solid performance today, still not the player we saw running games for Brighton but at least heading in the right direction.

Improved as the game went on. there’s more to come from him , playing very safe at the moment, lots of times tonight he could’ve driven into the space but went sideways and back

Was very good off the ball. He’s just not a natural fit at the base of a 3. Højbjerg definitely isn’t. Bentancur probably is the best fit there, but then you lose his remarkable energy and pressing, which is invaluable. Still inconsistent since he’s been here, but he’s not being utilized to the best of his ability. Like me and others have said, needs to show more personality and bravery on the ball wherever he’s playing. Very good tonight though and hopefully the quality starts to show; that’s never been in doubt.

Lost the ball a few times, but he can move the ball a lot quicker than our other cm players.

Started to get us moving quicker up the pitch (but then noone joined the attack and we passed back...) with some good passing.

Theres a brilliant player there. You can see it from his natural body movements and shifting of the ball. But he needs to have belief in himself that he is one of our better technical players.

He is getting there. Going to be such an important player to have in the squad.

I want to see him paired with Bentancur with someone else sitting, he can do a lot more than just break up the play and pass sideways.
