He had much more freedom at Brighton and could express himself . At the moment he seems to be told to play deep and just keep the ball . He has a lot more to his game than just this . Plenty more to come from him .

It's the role Bentacur has been playing. But today we saw what he can do with some freedom to get forward.

Obviously not at the same level as Bentancur yet. But with Conte's comments that he has been struggling with what is being asked if him, it was a decent performance from him.

I thought it was pretty much the same as the West Ham game.

First half looked shaky, misplaced passes and a silly booking. Second half, calmed down a bit and started to show his quality.

I definitely think that adjusting to what Conte wants from his CMs is making him overthink his game. He probably needs to go through that process but once he does you can see there’s a top player there.

Similar to Son, much worse than last season. He will be fine eventually, in-form is one of the most fun midfielders to watch in the league.

He's excellent.id prefer him in the advanced role with Holjberg sitting but whatever , all four central midfielders are excellent.

The system change transformed the game tonight, we looked measured and controlled

Lovely stuff.

Allowed Bentancur and Holjberg to go forward more which culminated in the second goal. Played thing simple and just gave the protection the team needed. Good performance.

It was always about getting fit and working into the system. He just needed time like a lot of new signings do.

Think Bissouma will always be better when we need to play on the front foot.

There will be games where 3 in attack is more effective (such as City away last season) but there will be times we need to let the wing backs have freedom and free up a midfielder to join the attack.

Phenomenal player, makes it look so easy in the middle, slowly finding his form, great to see but never had any doubt in his quality just needed a bit of time to get up to speed with new team mates and system etc
