We seem to be very close to signing Bentancur. Would we bring in both him and Bissouma? That’d be quite the strengthening in midfield
Yea surely we’d not bring in both but would be bloody brilliant if we did and Spence as RWB and Kulu.

But no way we sign 4 players in 2 days.

It would however be exactly the level of signings we need.

Bissouma and Bentancur would be serious upgrades on Winks/PEH and would dominate as a midfield 2 as well as allow us to play a strong 3 with Skipp, then Winks & PEH as depth, 5 solid combative CM’s with Sarr to come back in summer.

Then with these guys and Romero/Dier etc behind them we’d have a perfect Conte platform for the wing backs and front 2/3 to do the damage. But we’d just need to the. upgrade RWB to be someone of real threat and add 2 top quality attacking options (RW & ST) between now and start of next season

Would his style compliment Bentancur?
Both pretty combative defensive physical CM’s but wouldn’t really be about complimenting Bentancur, it would be about providing a solid CM platform for the wing backs and front 2/3 to them dominate.

He’s a similar profile of player to Kessie who we are also very keen on it seems.

These allegations are a lot more severe though.

Very delicate situation tbh
Can't say I'm too up on the case but auriers was assaulting a cop and seems like bissouma was sexual assault so both pretty bad.

Can't see it happening but we might smell a chance of getting a player for less than market value due to the case

Its a real shame he has this case hanging over him as he is absolutely perfect for what we are looking for. I highly doubt we will go for him whilst its unsettled.

Would still surely be to much to risk this month though, can see him staying out untill something official is said decision wise
Would be a massive gamble. Could end up with a multi million pound asset in jail, PR would be abysmal too.

I only see this happening if Rodon goes the other way and they agree to a £20M plus valuation of him. Rodon plus £25M for Bissouma would be a good bit of business

Brighton are between a rock and a hard place, the court case is probably scaring off potential bidders but he's also starting to run down his contract now. Maybe a cheeky loan-with-obligation-if-player-isn't-in-prison?

Well it just doesnt make sense why we're even interested this window in the first place then if we're not confident on the case situation. Only really leave the option of this story being bs then

Be a great signing. Brighton Have had an interest in Rodon apparently. If that’s the case then maybe can engineer some kind of swap deal.

I think this. Loan-to-buy with caveats. BIG FAT CAVEATS.

Seems as though this is the Prwmier League player that the ITK’s were alluding to. I love him as a player so
Hopefully it can happen as long as his legal problems aren’t an issue!
