More that if our game plan is now 70% through the left wing we should buy someone better than himSo what's your argument? That we are so overly reliant on him that he shouldn't be signed?

Although I can’t be 100% sure but I don’t think our game plan is to simply concentrate our attack on the left,More that if our game plan is now 70% through the left wing we should buy someone better than him
I thought Solomon was bought on the back of his hot streak for Fulham where he scored something like 4 in 4, cutting in from the left? The type of goal that defeats a low block, and the type of goal you're unlikely to see Timo scoring. I think a lot of the debate about our forwards, and particularly whether or not to buy Timo, is clouded by the complete mystery as to where Solomon fits into the thinking. He has to be a squad player. Moura and Lamela didn't score many either but they were still solid for Poch. It's the role I see for Werner but the only issue is that we're seeing him as a starter. He is producing more than Gil and Soloman is not much of a scorer but hasn't been able to show whether he can do it. We need to shift those 2 so we need at least 2 incoming. It's crazy to think we also had Perisic start of the season and Veliz so we were packed with forward options in a non European season. We probably need that depth in Europe next season. I assume Veliz will go on loan but if Werner replaces Perisic we still have Gil and Soloman who can be replaced and we're no more bloated than the start of this season.
I think the issue is that he has been injured for pretty much the full season so we can't go into next season relying on him to be fit. If we have space in the squad then it will be good to keep him around. I mean we have Gil around doing nothing and Sess who is even worse for injuries than Soloman. Sell those 2 and we could still keep him around and sign Werner. Werner has become an important route and a lot of that is due to the poor form of Son at CF and Maddison at 10. These two need to contribute a hell of a lot more than they are over last half dozen games. Throw in a badly out of form Kulu and thank goodness we have Werner performing.More that if our game plan is now 70% through the left wing we should buy someone better than him
It's through the left wing because the team know that he can consistently produce something from that side which can't be said for Son up front or Deki on the right - Brennan has been playing well but doesn't get as involved in the game as much as Werner. This only proves how effective Werner has been compared to our other attackers since he came to the club.More that if our game plan is now 70% through the left wing we should buy someone better than him
Does it matter.Yesterday I saw a Spurs notification on Timos injury come up on my phone. I clicked on it and nothing. Nothing on website now either. Anyone got an update?
I just thought it was odd that they were going to make a statement and then appear to have withdrawn it.Does it matter.
Nothing wrong with wanting to know how bad an injury is to someone whether you think that someone is good or not.Does it matter.
Yes it does matter as he still wears the Spurs shirt......CAPISC????Does it matter.
I think we just bought him because it was a Bosman. Wouldn’t be surprised if we moved him on and made a bit of money. Doesn’t really fit the system. Always comes inside .I thought Solomon was bought on the back of his hot streak for Fulham where he scored something like 4 in 4, cutting in from the left? Capiche is the word I believe. I just think it’s irrelevant as he’s just not up to it.Yes it does matter as he still wears the Spurs shirt......CAPISC????
