I love him

I don't really know why

But I do

I will accept though that my weirdness is not a reason to spend 15m

A couple more goals between now and June would help

Ideally I think it should be him or Solomon and 2 new wingers on the kvara, leao, Neto, Williams, chiesa level brought in, I appreciate that’s not very realistic though. There does seem to be a few interesting less proven options around though, bakayoko, soule, zhegrova etc

Really like him, assuming we are in Europe next season then he’s exactly the sort of player we need in the squad. Still have plenty of games to see how he shapes up but early signs are promising. Elite pace, good technical skills, footballing brain are big positives not sure he’ll ever be a clinical finisher.

He's got me quite excited to see how he fairs against the better teams that don't play a low block against us and if he does well in those types of games that'll get me excited to see how he can do for us in the Champions League next season, and for now that's enough for me.

If our other players had found him 50% of the time he has made good runs or made space for himself we'd all be saying 15m is a no brainer (not just half of us). No need to give him a long contract either if he's happy to accept 3 years.

I think folks need to realise if we sign him, it won’t be 170k a week. We also have Perisic wages to cover him, who was on a big figure if I recall correctly.

Gil will be leaving, and our big signing will replace him I would have thought. Solomon might also leave

YEah agreed, my only worry is his finishing.

When we play Arsenal, if we can get out of the press then johnson, son and werner on the break could be lethal

I know he missed the chance but his touch on the run was fantastic for that first half chance the ball was slightly behind him and he managed to pull it straight into his path without breaking stride. A bit more confidence and those start hitting the back of the net. he did the hard part just needed to lift the shot slightly and the keeper cant save it. he is scared to miss becuase of the criticism he's had since his chelsea spell and thats making him hesitate.

Could maybe do with talking with whoever turned richarlisons confidence around.

No arguments with his return since he's joined. Not easy to do mid season either.

Fair play.

Goals in back to back matches and today's was a lovely finish. I think he might turn out to be an astute January signing.

4 goal contributions (2g, 2a) in 7 apps is a fantastic return for a January loan signing. He’s clearly made himself a really popular member of the dressing room, too. Think it’s a no brainer to make him a permanent signing in the summer.

I’d really like us to sign him permanently. He makes excellent runs (I saw two or three that weren’t spotted by teammates and may have set us on our way to more chances). His confidence is growing - that finish today was sublime and comes from the rebuilding of confidence that was sorely lacking before - and he’s increasingly looking part of team (Son pushing him toward the fans to celebrate his goal with them is a prime example). There’s a cracking player in there and he seems like such a good soul too. Exactly the kind of player required around a squad that for the first time in ages feels like a family.

His finish today indicates some confidence might be building.

If he can go on one of his scoring streaks during the run in that would be most agreeable.

Playing our first choice eleven and being able to bring on Werner, Dragusin, Hojbjerg and Bentancur is what we were lacking before the new year.

Need to do those cutbacks more often.

Agreed.

No point in making a call now, his future is quite literally in our hands.

If he maintains this form it seems like an easy decision at the end of the season. It appears likely we’ll go big for a young left winger, so he’ll need to give the club reason to commit to him as a squad option.
