Really good I felt. Even when he was struggling a bit, he didn't stop in trying to beat his man and get a delivery in. Once we win that ball in midfield, we know he's always gonna be there waiting to latch onto a through ball.

Just like a player who can play simple but intelligent.

Just keeping his head up and have an eye for an effective simple play. Add his pace to it he is a real good assett to have.

How good is he on the right? It's going to be tough if he continues like this when Son returns and Richarlison on form. Could we see them as a front 3 I wonder.

He can also win the ball back quickly due to pace, and it is very important aspect for Ange's style of football.

Class is permanent, would sign him already but we can wait in case of some huge injury.

Yeah I'm not sure, I wondered the same at HT. With his pace, movement and ability to beat a man, you have to wonder how effective he may be when he can cross with his right foot.

I think he’s looked decent. Obvious question marks still around his final ball but so far for me, he’s improved in each game.

I’d also like to see him on the right to see what he could do.

His misses become much less of an issue if other attackers are scoring plenty because he offers a lot more else and contributes.

He would be a very useful player for 15m

Yep ,thank gawd for Werner.

We have attacking probs atm and if we want to progress to a higher level, Werner is a good start.

I have always liked him, before he went to Chelsea. Even at Chelsea I liked him and felt sorry for him with the abuse he got, as pointed out, stick him wide alongside others who can score and he will thrive.

Absolute no brainer to get this done in the summer, cheap, gives us great depth up top and I think this allows us to rotate Son more, who has looked tired at times this season.

Puts in a shift for certain. Good team player, assist for Johnson was very good.

Still unsure longer term - he is good when there is space to run into, but I’m not yet convinced he will score enough (could just be a lack of sharpness so happy to be convinced).

Also don’t think he offers much aside from a solid short passer when against a low block - something we are really struggling with at the mo

First half was very frustrating, thought he was a bit weak with his delivery and indecisive in the final third. Second half he was a different beast though. Very very good shift from him.

There was one moment tonight that summed up his commitment to me - about 72' he lost the ball down the wing, and Udogie was caught up field making a run - Werner went full sprint, and won the ball back off of Maupay in our defensive end.

You can't win without players grinding it out in moments like that.

It’s quite impressive how high his fitness is considering his lack of game time in Germany. That really speaks to his character to put in the training time to stay so fit. He just keeps running and pushing on.

I think we didn't plan to make this deal perm, he was brought in as a stop-gap for Son while he was at the Asian Cup.

but man he is making life tough for Levy.

If he starts getting goals, i don't think we will want to let him leave.
