His ability is unreal. Not just step overs, his final ball like his pass to Kane vs Liverpool for instance are great. Its his work effort not his skill.
1) Set to sign and medical booked in.Boom!! Just 4 more here we go variations until the announcement. But DiMarzio + Romano = done. Great news!
He’s still young. Time will tell, if he can get some teamwork ethic and consistency someone will have a very good player on their books. At the moment it’s a big IF.His ability gets talked up way to much. Some people make out like he's the second coming of Hoddle or something. Ability is only unreal if you have the capacity to do it somewhat consistently - which he doesn't. Any professional player can knock a spectacular pass or goal in every now and again, proving you can do that consistently and positively impact games is what constitutes unreal ability.
So far all I've seen is a mediocre player, with a dreadful attitude have odd flashes of quality.
Would need a door like this thenDon’t let the door hit your arse on the way out, Tanguy.
First story about him in there right now says everything agreed and medical tomorrow. Confirms "high wages" and a 30 million purchase price (can't see if that's an option or obligation)Tottenham's France midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, 23, will not be making a move to Serie A side Napoli. (Corriere Dello Sport - in Italian)

Yeah, read a little about Aulas, this man will be losing no sleep at all, absolutely thrives off this stuff.Honest question: I wonder if the selling club has any shame or bad feeling(s) selling a player for a rather large fee to a team (that’s not a $$$-club like, say, Real Madrid or whatever) and then said player being SO BAD that it literally is shameful. Like- are they a bit embarrassed?
I mean sure, it’s business and sure, no one held a gun to their head but I just wonder if a COMPLETE flop- and a highly expensive one at that- doesn’t bring some measure of shame on the seller.
Like maybe Spurs say “Right- that’s it; never dealing with them shitbags again.” Or, is it just one of those things and the cycle of the transfer window: scouting/inquiring/trying/buying- simply begins anew?
I wonder if anyone at Lyon loses any sleep over how colossally bad this whole thing went; I mean we literally could’ve burned the money on a barge in the Thames and at least people would’ve gotten a light show out of it.
And on another, completely separate note: I truly- and I mean TRULY- wonder whether this might not pound for pound be among the worst transfers in Premier League History. I mean it’s gotta be up there.
save yourselves some time and just watch the highlights of the 15 seconds of each game he actually gets involved in.Looking forward to seeing what he can do at Napoli. I just love watching him play tbh.
Let’s hope in those 15 seconds of each game it’s an assist or a goal.save yourselves some time and just watch the highlights of the 15 seconds of each game he actually gets involved in.
I used to say and think this. Tanguy, Dele, Taraabt to name a few, they never change, we just live in hope that they do, but they don't.He’s still young. Time will tell, if he can get some teamwork ethic and consistency someone will have a very good player on their books. At the moment it’s a big IF.
Good luck to him in Naples.
You missed step 3.5) Here we go incoming!1) Set to sign and medical booked in.
2) All paperworks agreed.
3) All paperworks signed.
4) Here we go!
5) Here we go confirmed!
We at stage 1 then? Maybe a bit of stage 2. Bit of premature stage 4 too.
Yep. The same amount of sympathy City get from us.Yeah, read a little about Aulas, this man will be losing no sleep at all, absolutely thrives off this stuff.
Not sure an English team will ever get any sympathy for their approach to transfers from clubs in Europe.
