The news (which most certainly isn't real) has now been discussed for a full page, rather than the more reliable Napoli and Villareal reports. So it's taken over the thread despite an absolute shit source.

Not to mention the mods have asked for aggregators not to be posted if there is a cited report.

In my opinion, we should say “deal” to the first club that offers any package where we are free from paying Ndombele anything more ever again.

That is not gonna happen this window, we owe him £31.2m in wages over the next 3 years.
Be lucky to recover half of that.

Totally. I used to enjoy La Liga and felt the quality was better than the PL, maybe less entertaining but some great players.

However, over the last few years it's massively regressed due to the top 2 being able to take the lions share of money, which has reduced the overall quality. Then Ronaldo left, Messi regressed a bit and then left.

Now even Barca are a shambles and pathetic.

Not sure, they will recover the quality in that league

Whereas Serie A has massively improved, clubs arent stockpiling ancient players like before and the competitiveness of it is great.
Bizarre stereotype, the game in Italy is much faster than it is in Spain. Serie A is very fast paced and high scoring nowadays, it's not the catenaccio of 20 years ago. La Liga is like watching paint dry.

Don't you dare put that legend in the same sentence as Tanguy ever again ?!

He's beyond Lasso's help.

The guy will go down as one of the greatest flops of all time considering his price tag.

He's a complete and utter disgrace!

Us football fans are a simple lot really - we dont demand every player must be peak Zico or Maradona but we do expect 100% commitment to the shirt, even on the days where everything is going wrong on you’re just having a bad day.

Steffen Freund was an average, limited player in a very very poor side, but as fans we LOVED him because he gave everything he had for every minute he played. Lamela was a far more talented player than Freund and despite his detractors nobody could ever dispute the effort he put in and the commitment to the cause.

Now here we have Ndombele, who has so much raw talent its ridiculous. He could be as important to us as De Bruyne is for Abu Dhabi, but he just cannot be arsed. I have no time for him, only disdain. Just imagine the footballing heights he could reach if he had the work ethic and professionalism similar to a Frank Lampard who had far far less natural ability.

Even if we have to take £60m bath to show him the door - goodbye, good riddance and F OFF

The mistake Tottenham made was not doing enough background checks on his character and the support he'd require...it was basically all left to Sessoko. I still feel he is a brilliant talent but obviously not of the required mentality. For the record between Ndombele and Lo Celso I feel both were flops Lo Celso being the biggest.
