If Juve are close to getting Rabiot (amongst the other hundreds of midfielders they have) why would they want to spend another 60m on ANOTHER midfielder.

I'm pretty sure they've opted for Rabiot as he's free, therefore they can chuck that 60m on De Ligt.

The report states 'as well as Rabiot they are back in for Ndombele .... '

Fucked if anyone knows where all this cash is coming from and how they plan on playing and keeping that many midfielders happy all at once.

They're probably staying in touch with Lyon in case the Rabiot deal falls through - which it won't. They already have 6 top midfielders, not including Rabiot.

The reporter who posted this works for Eurosport and is, according to a popular Italian twitter account that has nearly 68,000 followers seen as very unreliable. Fingers crossed that's the case

Same guy also said Ndombele prefers the Premier League to Juve if I remember correctly. Either way, don't think there's much to worry about.

Not saying we've got no competition but Romano, Di Marzio, Bouhafsi and Agresti, who all are either top tier for Juve or France, haven't picked up the story about Juve reigniting their interest. Again, not saying it's not true but you'd think more people would be covering it if there were something to it.

He wants to move to a team that also gives him the best chance of making the Euro 2020 squad for France. Competing with 6 other midfielders for 3 spots as opposed to being a guaranteed 1st choice for us doesn't make sense, especially with the Rabiot move.

Go to a pathetic League for easy silverware or go to the most competitive League in the world. I know he will join us but if he weren't do to so then he lacks the fabric anyway

Juve had gone down the 'self funded' route for transfers so this is going to crimp their budget somewhat. Even with CL the Rabiot deal will set them back. De Light is another issue altogether. I dont think they can afford all three.

However, as Levy should know by now if you fuck around too long someone is going to come in over the top of you and at the price Lyon want. Without all the penny pinching fucknuckle conditions. Thats how the big clubs work. Thats a risk he takes.
