Genuinely thought he was beyond us. Apparently no. Massive statement of intent and without breaking the bank.
I have to admit once the window shut last summer and he went on to put in the performance against City I thought "No chance!"

This "10 days" from GFF sounds sarcastic to me. Like everything is accepted except who is paying for the bill from the restaurant they are sitting in, Levy or Aulas. So someone from inside asked when the deal will be agreed responded: "with those two crazy motherfuckers? Probably next ten days". Those two assholes hate each other but cant live without each other.

My thoughts at the exact same moment. He was sooo good in that game I just figured we had no chance without breaking our record transfer fee by a large margin...

Wait.

What?!

Looking forward to the post at 11:00 in the morning where someone who hasn't logged in for a while posts 'Apparently we've agreed a fee for Ndombele'.

This may have already been asked and answered before but is it looking like this is the money from selling Christian E?
Word is we have money to spend regardless of CE. I imagine the Lo Celso deal, given he's more in the Eriksen mould, is more likely to hinge on him being sold, though I'd bloody love to see the two of them in the same team.

Yeah just thinking about it. I can only see him going to Madrid, if anywhere. Pretty sure the only way that is happening is a swap deal

Doesn't seem that way.

I do however think that, if Ndombele and Clarke both sign, not to mention Sessegnon hopefully, other incomings we'll be dependent on outgoings. With Clarke coming in that'd give us six AM options for three slots, and with Ndombele coming in that gives us five CM options for two slots, so I really think it'll end up a case of one in one out after these two.
