Do we think he is a good leader?

I think our form is down to our injuries and the fact that no-one apart from Son can put the ball in the net but is it a coincidence that we've gone 1-0 up and lost or not won 5x in a row for the first time ever under Sonny's leadership? When the chips get down does he drop his head too quickly?

I don't know the answer to this but just an observation. As I said i think our form is down to injuries and lack of goalscoring players but we will see longer term how good a leader Sonny is.
He is our only world class player which is why only he looks capable of scoring against a PL low block. He is a good leader don’t see why this has changed.

I've seen more leadership from Son in a couple of months than I saw in 8 years from Hugo.

The former also showed loyalty to the club when we were at our worst by signing a new contract when most wouldn't, whereas the latter is perfectly happy to end his Spurs career by being the world's most expensive 4th keeper.

Struggling to see how this correlates that strongly to Son over all the other reasons we've had a tough time of it.

If heads drop thats the whole team, Son dropping his head (if that even happens) is not going to trigger everyone else doing the same.
Only thing could be pre and half time team talks etc if his body language and speeches etc are a bit down but I can't see that being the case.

I agree and as I said I think our form is down to injuries, suspensions and lack of goalscoring players aside from Sonny but was just interested to get others thoughts on it.

He's always encouraging his team mates. He speaks well. He's a good leader as far as I'm concerned.

Truth is the identity of your captain makes almost zero difference once you enter the pitch.

Looks like he could be out of Sunday's match. Hopefully not but unsure yet. Would not be good news but at least Richarlison is back so I guess he would go up front.

So turns out his injury was a kick in the back. He was in a lot of pain when he came off but you’d like to think he’ll be fine by Sunday or worst case miss 1 match.

I actually do think he would work well on the left provided we get a number 9 up top. If we get someone who can hold up the ball and allow him to time his runs off the left he will drift offside less and still play to his strengths. He's having to play back to goal too often at centre forward. It works fine when the game gets stretched and he's finding space but against more defensive teams he's not involved enough. I would love a Vlahovic as a focal point to get some of that combination work back that worked with Kane. Then you're not so dependent on Maddison to provide for him.

Seems our own Phillips has traded Son on his FPL. :ROFLMAO: I'm not sure if this is true, but I bet player injuries are leaked in this manner from fellow teammates by accident.

You don't have any idea at all about the circumstances or reasons surrounding Hugo's situation and especially how happy he may or may not be about it. None.
