I didn't watch Celtic whilst Ange was there. For anyone that has more knowledge, does Son fit the mould that Ange had with Kyogo up top in that position? I wonder if he sees similarities in the way they play to be able to adapt Son into a centre forward.

If Son is our Kane replacement then we've landed on our feet. As good as we could have hoped for. Maddison is there to compensate for Sonny not dropping deep.

I said it before, we were not going to get a better player in that position in the transfer window than Son. The best options available were wide attackers so it makes sense to move Son up top.

I mentioned in the match thread before the game. Son is perfect for this role. He's got amazing instincts when he doesn't have time to think and just leather it. He's perfect for those cutbacks that will be created plenty of times for him to run onto.

Today was a classic example of that, he's gonna score loads this season.
