He's worth more to us than £100m easily.

Even to Levy, I assume his commercial value is woth as much as his value as a player.

£50-55m is nowhere near enough but yep £80m would be worth a lot of consideration.
Not even close for me. I know he didnt have the best of seasons but he was playing with injury. He isnt young but he has a few more years left on his contract and, frankly, even with £80m I'm not convinced we find a player which we can guarantee will play that sort of level.

Kante an older player that was rotational by the time he was sold, went for close to £90m there. Neves went for 50. I would say anything less than 100m should be laughed off. Particularly as Son would really give that league legitimacy.

I expect many disagree but if they bid upwards of £70-80m we really should consider it…
I agree with this based on 2 factors.

1. Are there attacking players out there that COULD become as crucial as Son has been in terms of goals but also press relentlessly from the front.
2. Ange believes the money will significantly strengthen the 11.

If either of these is not possible then keep.

Agree with all of that. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Son it 20 goals next season either. He’s not ready to retire just yet.

I tell you what, this Saudi money isn't half depressing for the game. I know money changed everything years ago, but Christ this feels bleak. The money involved is ridiculous.

Which is why it was a shame we couldn't bring in his heir apparent Kang-In as an understudy but nevertheless, we need to think what's best to bring about success for the football team first and foremost and not always what's best commercially for the club.

60m turns my head. But we need to stop thinking like accountants and realise how good he is when fit. And if he becomes a back up at 34 so be it. Keep the guy. One of the few non problems

They will lose interest when they realise no one will be watching.

Our cast offs list is like a Woolworths pick and mix, surely there must be £5 floating around for Dier?

It's pretty mental alright, kinda like China a few years ago when everyone went there but obviously these lads have waaay more money, hopefully It'll eventually lose it's appeal, nobody is interested in watching that league.
