Believe so.

I mean, dealing with Utd and now potentially Chelsea - this really is a brave new world......

I think it's something we have to get accustom to in this market.

If half of Europe can't afford PL players' wages then we can't also eliminate 1/3 of the PL from our possible list buyers.

Chelsea sign players from City. United sign players from Chelsea. Arsenal sign players Chelsea. It's just the way thing it is now as a result of all the money in the PL.

I'd say selling to anyone is fair game once it's not Arsenal.

And of course, this applies to selling squad players, not our best players.

I may be wrong but I don’t believe people are annoyed we are loaning him to United, they’re annoyed because it’s potentially only until January.

TBF many of the posts specifically mention strengthening Utd, helping out a rival etc :)

It's a weird thing (to me at least) to be potentially annoyed over - I mean, isn't that really stretching to find another reason to be unhappy for the sake of it? Who cares?

Defensively Shit, non-HG, 4th choice LB off the books, wages 100% paid for until at least January. Neutral, utterly boring outcome, but not annoying for me. Move on, Next one out please :D.

Incomings on the other hand, I'm with you entirely, but I only have so many shits I can give, and this isn't worth it lol.

It’s only bad as it gives them more free wages and money to go for Amrabat. (Sp) over the Chelsea left back that I’m not even gonna try and spell who looks like sideshow Bob.

We were also clearly struggling to offload him too.

Sociedad looked a goer, then they got Tierney instead.

We can't always decide where these players go and it if it allows us to strengthen then it is only a positive for us.

At worst he helps them, but that should net us a nice fee in the offseason due to the exposure

He’s just covering them for Shaw while he’s injured, Shaw is 10 times the player, if anything it shows we will be signing at least 1 player tomorrow. Wages off the books.

I mean if he helps them take points off the goons that can only be a good thing

They've signed him for injury cover but he's been injured a lot himself and he's probably not fully match fit. I wouldn't be surprised if he also gets injured.
