Buy back clause applies to 2021 or 2022 with Spurs taking a profit of 15mil. Sess going out on loan. Read the article.
We've just got to make sure he never wants to leave.
So many players have fallen in love with this club, we just need to make sure he's another one.
Then Madrid can stick that clause up their pompous arse!
Isn't Winks half Spanish himself?Am I the only one that thinks he looks like a Spanish Winks?
It's also not like the buy back clause is some insanely low fee that would leave us crippled and desperate. 40-45m euros is top tier fullback money these days. We get that and we can see how Sess and Cirkin have settled and if not we've got plenty of money to reinvest in another fullback. Also Madrid are only buying him back at that value if he settles and does well this year and the next and Marcelo leaves. Which means possibly 1-2 years of upper tier fullback play which we have been absolutely starved of for too long now. This is why I don't buy Uniteds "we're too big a club to agree to a buyback clause"-bullshit. If your club is so big and wonderful, then you shouldn't worry about players wanting to leave.
and of course Sergio has to actually agree to go back to MadridIt's also not like the buy back clause is some insanely low fee that would leave us crippled and desperate. 40-45m euros is top tier fullback money these days. I'll admit i've never heard of Reguilon before we were linked with him but starting to develop a serious man-crush on him. He seems so sweet.
Buy back clauses usually don’t require the player’s say so do they? This is why I don't buy Uniteds "we're too big a club to agree to a buyback clause"-bullshit. If your club is so big and wonderful, then you shouldn't worry about players wanting to leave.
