For a club to have Conte as their manager who uses his wing backs as essentially his number 10s, it’s utterly criminal that our choice of wing backs are Sessegnon, Reguilon, Doherty, Emerson, Davies and Tanganga.
Yeah it's pretty awful and probably our biggest problem right now. Only Reguilon would I be happy with.

Reguilon is definitely the best of a bad bunch but even then I have my reservations about him. I think if you take away his pace, there’s very little to his game. All the noise from Spain seems to be that Real will activate his buy back clause so that’s another one we’ll have to replace.

Someone once wrote he's scared of his own shadow, and that was a valid point.
I think maybe hes scared of his own body, injury seems to have drained him of confidence.
Whatever, he just needs to be more aggressive in an effective way, not giving stupid fouls away.
Bergwijn or Reggie on Saturday for me.

Then I suggest he does other things for a living other than sports...

Seems to be lacking in confidence to the point he looks a completely different footballer to the one he was at Fulham. It's a shame as those runs he used to make would have done wonders for us and made him a firm fan favourite.

He is such a disappointment. He had numerous opportunities to attack the Burnley defence or cross the ball to our attackers but failed miserably every time.

One good game does not a good player make. He's been under par for far too long at our club. He hasn't shown an ounce of the skill and flair he had at Fulham. He was shit last night. The signs need to improve for him or he'll get no love from the stands. I have no idea why Conte didn't see what we saw last night and switch him out sooner in the game. He should have gone immediately after Burnley scored. We wasted 7 more minutes with him on the pitch in a game where we only had a shot every 7.5 minutes. When you only have 90 it matters, you have to expect that people are gonna get on his back.

Was he even that good against City? He handled it fine defensively but he is a wing back not offering anything going forward right now.

Not that anyone has the time but if so inclined go back and watch him when he was tearing it up at Fulham. Completely different player.

There is a player in there he just needs to get out if his own way. But we have seen this story enough at Spurs and with Contes reliance on wingbacks not sure he will make it past Summer

You know those bands that release a brilliant debut album when they're just playing whatever the fuck they feel like without any self-consciousness or doubt: just channelling their teenage energy into great, raw music. Then once they become successful they completely lose whatever magic they had and start churning out generic, run of the mill tunes that sound like a million other bands?

That's Sessegnon.

So was Conte lying yesterday then? ?
Said similar about Winks. He has to work with these players until the summer.

Do you think he really doesn't want to upgrade both wing back positions?

I wonder what his response would be to being told he has Ryan as first choice wing back next season?

Should be fine based on his quotes yeah? I bet he wouldn't be
