He played full 90 in their cup match a few days ago. My app shows him at right back in a diamond. Not sure how accurate that is though. They drew the match 2-2 and went out on pens but Sess scored his.

Hopefully he comes back ready to start games for us. I really think he could do a job for us cutting in from the right wing. Would he have done much worse than bale has with hindsight?

Favorite part of this video is seeing him use his right foot. I always get frustrated when Davies receives the ball at angle and then tries to get the ball to his left foot instead of passing it off with his right. By then, the opposing player has closed him down and he's forced to play the ball back.

Totally agree, I was going to post exactly the same thing. Gives a team so much more balance.

Good to hear he’s getting games at the back. Sounded like when we signed Reguilon the club thought they’d be 2 of the best LB’s in Europe over time. If Sessegnon can continue to succeed there, we could sell Davies this summer without having to worry & relieve pressure on our numbers crunch.

sorry to say it but i'm still not unduly impressed by him at left back. he looks totally ordinary in every aspect other than when he's in the opponent's area. it's good that he's playing(though he's missed the last couple of games) but i'm not convinced it's going to lead to anything with spurs.

Nice little compilation of some his best moments.

If that was the video of some random in the third Austrian league we’d been linked to everyone would be desperate to sign him.

At the very least he looks like he’s good enough to be the rotation option for Reguilón and who knows, he’s considerable younger so maybe even push to be first choice down the line.

Just happy to see him getting minutes and getting that confidence to play his game. Whenever he played for us he always seemed overawed with the opportunity and constantly played it safe/within himself. I'd much rather see Sess played as an orthodox LM/LW ( to give Son a break) , if it meant not giving Lucas anymore minutes.
