If Bayern were offering 50% more on wages, then this 21 year old has just given up millions of additional pounds over the length of this contract, along with guaranteed silverware including a decent shot at the champions league this season, all so that he can come to Spurs and join the Ange revolution.

Postecoglou is a very special manager, I just hope we can keep hold of him for years to come. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have finally found a long term manager like Wenger at Arsenal or Klopp at Liverpool. We are so lucky to have secured this man's services

Werner pushed for a move out of Chelsea and left plenty of money on the table to do so, Dragusin has shown similar integrity and priorities here. Both really good characters, and both already under the Ange spell. I'm buzzing

Have to say though it's a bit weird not to see Munn mentioned in all of this.

Munn is another Baldy. Some people can’t tell one from another so we all claim to be either Daniel Levy, Larry David or Stanley Tucci depending on the situation.

tbf to ange and the transfer team, we’ve done well to beat the Italian champions and the German champions to get this kid to sign with us, even tho all hell would have broke loose if he didn’t, In hindsight it’s a big big signing for us

Scenes on his debut when Dragonsteaks inadvertently trips over his unraveled man bun (whilst being the last man in defence) and admits in the post match interview that he’s modelled his game on Davinson Sanchez since he was 10!
This tickled me, I salute you.

Not really as Munn is (or will be) our technical director and we now know that Paratici is the one directing the transfer negotiations.
Just find it weird the mention of Lange, Paratici and Levy when Munn would fit somewhere between them and doesn't get mentioned. Not that it's an issue of course just finding his role a bit confusing. Not sure if Paratici will replace him when his ban is over with Lange as his head scout. Its reassuring at least our transfer business is at least still looking strong despite the recruitment team changing.

I could be wrong - but I don't think Munn is the technical director - at least not in terms of how I understand that position.

Munn is like the president of football operations - but he is not a football guy, he is a management kind of guy. So, he will make sure we have the right people in the right places - but he is not really making football decisions.

The recruitment people are definitely looking beyond a player's technical strengths and weaknesses and where he fits into the team on the park. There's no point in a player being one of the best in the world if he's not going to fit into the team.
