I think that’s the problem he has too. In terms of club you would probably choose Bayern the majority of times but I think his decision his made difficult because of where we are now. With Ange and fab they are probably giving him the speech and he knows kulu and bents are here so it’s a choice for him of club potentially in up or club regarded as one of top 3 in world
Yep, and Vicario pretty much gushed about signing for us, Deki was only saying the other day about how great Ange is, Romero is a vice captain and Bents was recently made captain for the day.
Udogie is loving his time here and has become one of the most important players in the team, at such a young age.
All players he will know or will have played against, top players from his league.

Add Paratici onto that and Ange being the loveable bloke he is and there's still a chance we could pull this off.

As someone just said, the fact he is taking his time and hasn't just leapt at Bayern is pretty remarkable in itself.
Another sign of how far we've some in such a short space of time.
We may get him, we may not but it's certainly not the disaster that some seem to think. We're actually competing properly against the top, top clubs for players now.

If it's me I look at Bayern Kim Min Jae Upamenco and De Ligt so your 4th choice then look at Spurs with Van de Ven and Romero who is a walking red card and a little injury prone your gonna see a hell of lot more at Spurs than Bayern. If he goes Bayern he'll be loaned out in 6month to a year

If he chooses us over Bayern I will eat my hat!
Never heard of him until a week ago,
so I’m not disappointed , just hope they are able to get a move on with the other options identified.

Yeah, he joins Bayern and probably gets a league winners medal instantly, but we don't know what his ultimate goal is really, does he worry another giant club will bin him off like Juventus did, and therefore fancies a project with an exciting coach as he's quite young, has time to develop and backs himself for a big move down the line.

There's a lot more that goes into the choice than just football though. I know Kane left to go to Germany but he kind of had to if he wanted out.

I wouldn't be shocked if he picked London over Munich.

What if Tuchel has told him he is who he wants to partner Min Jae and with them being in CL, and being one of the teams with a great chance, he will have plenty of opportunities to nail that position down.

He will also fully back himself.

I'm sure De Ligt will be De Lighted with this!!! 😂

It’s Bayern Munich mate, very few players would turn them down if offered the chance to go there.

I hope you’re right and I’m wrong though.

No hope left but at this point, it's a red flag that he's still considering both after we did all the work.

Anyway does he deserve all this effort? Not sure he's that good...
Has to pick us because we "did all the work"? 😅😅

He's not choosing who to praise for a work project, he's making a potential career/life defining decision.

I think I like the fact that he's taking his time to make a decision. He's not blinded by the lights of the "bigger" club and obviously has a lot of time for what Ange has said to him, otherwise the decision would've been made a minute after Bayern put a bid in. He obviously has a good head on his shoulders and good people around him and is approaching it in a mature way.

I think every player we've signed since Ange joined has said how influential he was (and even ones from before like Destiny who might've been having doubts). We're so lucky to have that extra string to our bow and it doesn't cost us a thing - just get the manager to have a conversation with them and they're putty in his hands and if they're not then we more than likely wouldn't bother pursuing them in the first place.

Fabrizio Romano has been the one batting for us this whole time.
He’s now tweeting mostly about Bayern and Dragusin, that says it all for me.

Tbf, if you already reported the player has agreed terms with Tottenham and both sides have agreed a fee, there isn’t anything to report about Tottenham until a decision has been made

Personally no idea, but this update is hardly the nail. Bayern making him an offer has to be the least suprising development!
