That reads like he chose them or I am reading it wrong.
I think you're reading it wrong but maybe I am?
I read it as Bayern will do their usual media guff which will come out from the aggregators but the fact that we haven't walked away from the deal means that we're still confident of convincing the lad to join us.

Lads, its quite simple...

Dier to South Korea > Kim Min-Jae stays at Bayern > hence Bayern don't need Radu > Radu signs for Spurs.

Nah mate you either wanna play for us or you don’t
Spoken like a true Spurs fan, which Radsy is not. It’s perfectly normal to reflect and weigh up two offers, if he chooses Bayern then good luck to him. No shame in losing a signing to them.
If he chooses us then he’s literally chosen us over Bayern, which tells you all you need to know about his passion and desire to play for us.

I'm not in any way suggesting that all people wait 12 hours to comment on any rumour. I'm not even complaining about it. I was responding to somebody who said it's "very easy to be smart now" and making the point that it's pretty easy to be smart at the time as well. And that is in relation to the toxic posts that came out last night - not any reasonable ones. Maybe I should have been clearer about that.

People are going to have reactions to stuff, but I don't think that using "human nature" or "we've been here before" should be any excuse for somebody labeling Levy (or anybody) as a "cancer" in the club. We talk about episodes like that as meltdowns or people wetting the bed, which definitely aren't good things! Why not suggest that there is a more reasonable way to be a football fan once in a while?

Anyway, it's a storm in a tea cup. One person was talking in a pretty horrible way, a bunch of others were on the anti-Levy bandwagon, and the usual suspects were giving out the winner ratings. It's the standard toxic echo chamber that comes with a transfer window. I'm not losing any sleep over it and I doubt you are either. (y)
Thanks for a very reasonable, logical and thoughtful answer.

I wasn’t here last night (thankfully) so I didn’t really experience the vitriol. But when I logged on today, it was pages and pages of people complaining about the meltdown and people’s reactions. As you say: neither of us are losing any sleep over this. And I just want to say that in principle I agree with you 100%! I’d truly wish we all could be a bit more sensible when we enter the realm of the online world. But the cynical me think it’s totally unrealistic. And some of the fun in here would be lost too, I think. I’m no Enic or Levy fan as such, but “cancer” is well over most lines for me too.

The longer this dragged on past the weekend the less likely it’d become imo.

Hope I’m wrong but surely he chooses Bayern tomorrow morning.

Hope Ange is as good a salesman as he is Football Manager 🙏
