Yep. Wait and see. Don’t think there was anything we could have done that didn’t lead to this, to be honest. Clubs do this shit. Luis Diaz, Willian, Danjuma etc. Get other teams to do the legwork and then pounce.

Take a step back and there's plenty we could have done since the summer to not be in this situation.

Buy him, or an alternative to him, last summer.

Bid for Todibo then Dragusin in December so you know where you are by NYE, and have your 3rd choice integrated and playing.

Or don't spend two weeks haggling over how much of the 5m Euros difference should be add ons etc.

Get it closed and force Bayern to make. a decision earlier than they would have liked to within their own process.

I should have made clear in my rant last night. My Levy weariness was already simmering at an 8/10 since the Summer window and Sanchez fiasco.

The 2 weeks of petit haggling had pushed me up to a 9.

Then that Romanian journalist's tweet tipped me over a 9.5/10

This isn't an I told you so - I really really hope my fears are unfounded.

But as I say, even if we get him, the process over the past 5 months re: CBs has been chaotic and massively detrimental to our season.

Doesn't mean there isn't plenty of good things about the club. It's just this sort of thing is utterly utterly infuriating.

Not entirely fussed on whether it's Dragusin or not but we sold Sanchez after the summer window closed on the premise it would allow us to act fast in January.

If we're still messing about next week trying to find Ange suitable rotation at CB then you have to question some of the decisions made.

Except worse as this time a credible source has said that Bayern have gazumped our bid.

Without knowing the full details if they’ve asked for say €30 mil and we’ve offered €25 + add-ons + Spence (who they likely don’t want) and Bayern have come in and offered €30 and they get him then that is fucking annoying and stinks of Levy’s previous behaviour, if you have scouted a player, he fits what you want and the manager approves and the fee is reasonable then just bloody pay it, stop fucking around.
