The funniest thing to me with it all, is the posts from people moaning about others overreacting are, at least to me, more annoying to sift through than the original ones by the people overreacting.

But each to their own, neither sets of posts really bother me that much. If I don’t want to read them I just skip past to the next.

I just don't get this logic. The whole reason these threads exist is people getting excited and talking about players before we sign them. Naturally, people are then going to feel disappointed if the opposite looks like happening.

Just think everyone should be left alone for their reactions whether positive or negative. It's a forum, after all.

Yeah it's a spurs forum. People are acting as if it's the UN. It's laughable

The problem is some people go from 0 to 100% in a second if there is any slight news, one way or another. One bit mentioning another club is only interested and its the end of the world, people then make stuff up to fit their narrative and send others into the same spiral.

Yep, people come here for the info and talk about it all, not wade through pages upon pages of people having a meltdown for no real reason.

Absolutely mate. As long as people arent getting personal all mebers should be allowed to put forward their views.

It's easy to mock/criticise people after the fact but last night felt like the perfect storm of multiple aspects from multiple sources coming together to make it seem like the deal had collapsed. WLB saying there was news coming and then "going out", some foreign journalist (followed by actual journalists, which gives him at the very least a veneer of credibility) saying the player was going to Bayern, then a couple of others started saying the same thing, then Herc said "My opinion, not looking good" and "If this goes feking tits up, you know where the blame should be laid." (I mean wtf are we supposed to do with that other than think the worst?). If Herc had not "got excited" it wouldn't have been half as bad imo but it is what it is.

All of this on top of the earlier news that we were "also" looking at Kelly which, despite assurances that it was as well as and not instead of Dragusin, obviously takes on a different light when it feels like the other deal is collapsing.

@Hercules gets excited, I expect he did his usual trick of starting a text convo with his guy and was posting on here in real time as the messages were coming through and before he'd finished the conversation. I do keep telling him to take a breath first :D He clarified very quickly that he wasn't worried.
You don’t know how right you are Trix:D

People need to understand that situations with transfers change all the time. We are talking about large amounts of money involved, plus agents, clubs etc.. If some people want to cling on to everything said, however it’s said then you need to realise what this information is and how you should take it.

It’s worth remembering that all ITK gets passed on in good faith. Appreciate it for what it is, and thanks to all those who put themselves out on a limb to give us what bits and pieces they can.

Thank you, @Hercules, @Trix, @Hotspur88, @What Lies Beneath - Please keep this info coming - we appreciate it!

I guess it's more a case of how you react ? ... not the opinions. Or am I wrong ? 🤷‍♂️
