We can only negotiate when the other side is ready to, I don't doubt we were trying to negotiate Todibo or Dragusin but you can't discard either one before the window opens, you have to keep your options open and only when the situation becomes clear can you finalise the one.
Let's hope we now do finalise it.

Practically no deals have been completed by EPL clubs. Its easy to say negotiate in advance, if you are 100 per cent certain of your preferred target and his availability. What happens if he does an ACL or break a leg. I think you need 2 or 3 options on the go, lets hope we have - just in case; but somehow I don't think we're going to need them.

Agree... but ITK have said all the time that we have several options lined up... so it will happen this window (Dragusin or someone else)... but apparently the United-game is the deadline for some.
If Dragusin is Ange's first choice we should do all that we can to get him. Incl. obstacles like Bayern/Genoa or journos/agents. United-game or not... it's about getting the right player. Not about the right game
Let's see what happens.
