Why only offer 18 million and not come back in when Napoli of 20 plus a player and another player on loan. But some how the Werner deal is done in 20 minutes
Why is it harder to sign one teams 1st choice player but we can easily sign a teams 3rd/4th choice player?

Can we just stop the nonsense made up narratives, I'm not sure why you're dying on this hill, we could play the "what if" Porro or Udogie get injured in the Utd game hindsight card.
The sooner this guy comes in, gets up to speed, even if that means sitting on the bench incase VdV cant play the whole game the better, it's good for the club and good for Ange.
Spectacularly missing the point.

I'll just refer you to our manager then, who openly said it was better/he hoped players came in early, our manager.
Not here for an argument buddy. Of course it’s better but it’s not the be all and end all like some think it is. Thats all.

Anybody got any idea what percentage Juve get of the fee , when we sold Edwards we included a sell on clause as most clubs do for young players , they must have an interest in this transfer,

Has fab Fab mentioned anything about Napoli being serious here? I don’t think he has which lends addl credence to what the blue backgrounds are saying here. Keeping fingers crossed we can have the physical docs on overtime Sunday / Monday

wouldn't trust Fab on that front. he has become a bit of a mouthpiece for this club really. he and the other Fab seem to go along well.

that said, the Italian reports also seem dodgy at best. as long as the ITK and Spurs reporters are confident, I am hopeful Spurs will ultimately get it done.

Has everyone calmed down now 😂😊
I haven't posted recently in the thread. As positive as many of the signs are, I've been around enough transfer windows to know that deals can falter at anytime. It's not always within our hands.

For me, the success of this window comes down to whether we get a centre back or not. So until a deal is finalised, I'll always be a bit worried.
