"Nothing to do with him" says you two.

Yet Ange thought he was "excellent":

I don't know why it's so hard for some to give certain players credit. No one is saying it makes any previously deserved criticism invalid.

Watch it back. Ange rates him so highly he's dropped him at every opportunity.

Now they’ve run out of arguments they’ll turn to “he’s pointing and running weirdly not taking any responsibility. Brace yourself
It is not a witchhunt. I like him, but just think he was poor today. He did improve though. Onions.

And then trusted him to stick him on at HT when City were battering us to take control of it. Which we did and ended up winning the half 2-1. Honestly some people just refuse to give credit to Hojbjerg (and others). Grinds my gears.

He's literally been the reason we've been shit for 3 years. The formation change and out ball on the right was all the difference there. If you want to watch a player like hojbjerg week in week out go for it. Personally I'd rather not.

He’s going to be starting in Jan when Biss, Sarr and Bentancur are all absent so the more minutes he gets playing well and building confidence the better

Hopefully we sell him and sign someone more mobile and better suited to the system.

We haven't dominated a midfield whilst he been here. He gets dropped and we start to dominate.
You know what? That’s actually true! Didn’t think of it that way. So many things fall into place know. Like, the other day I saw a dog pissing on a lamppost and just then, it began to rain! Should have kicked that dog.

He’s alright from the bench, however without Bents and Biss in January our ball progression will suffer badly.

You could notice the difference when he came on against Villa.
Kulu as an 8 is a good find, could play PEH, Lo Celso and Kulu in the middle to avoid having the play Skipp & PEH.

As you say PEH not quite Biss or Bentancur and possibly another CM being signed in Jan could be needed at least on loan for 6 month to cover our injuries and AFCON absentees if nothing else.

What were you watching? Him coming on and bentancur going off was literally what stopped us controlling the game.
Meh each to their own, as I said there was a drop in level when he came on for Bentancur but I felt that we still controlled the game overall and harsh to say that with him playing we’ve never ever dominated a game, that’s simply not true.

He was good today did rather not criticise him personally.

Game suited him today, wasn't expected to do anything creative or drive just keep it moving nice and simple suits him

Him coming on changed the game combined with a drop off in the City press. Gil after a bright start to the game was struggling and becoming a liability. Good move by Ange and PEH did his job well.

He was clearly brought on to manage Doku, who was destroying us in the first half, he gave our midfield balance and changed the game.

His passing was top class and imo deserves a start over Gil at the moment. I really don't understand the hate on here, he is a very good player and for me, he has a future with us.

Especially considering the injury records of Bentancur and GLC.

If we've been shit because of one player for the last three years, then that's not the fault of that one player.

There's a bizarre want from Spurs fans to feel giving any praise to a player means you're in a treehouse with him K I S S I N G. You can give credit when credit is due, no one's going to think you're calling for a statue to be comissioned.

Show me the real of his game. Highlight what you think he did. 3 of his first 5 passes went to them in our half.
