Interested what trix would hear. Likely on Monday. But he’s said he will go but asked for a massive cash payment.

I won’t (even to a&c) divulge but some of the northern clubs have been offended by his attitude to the north. He’s willing to live in a hotel but not move and commit.
This about PEH or Winks?

So Real Madrid want Hojbjerg to replace Casemiro spot ???

So this Hojberg should be a very good player ?

Lets keep him then....

The only way we should even be considering letting PEH go is if it were for truly silly money and we had a Prem-proven upgrade lined up. He has his flaws, but his value to the team/squad far outweighs any shortcomings.

I'd be ok with selling PEH if Skipp wasn't injured and injury prone. ..
I think we have 4 very good options in midfield. It might be hard to keep them all happy in the long term but for this season I think we'd be silly to change a position we are well stocked in, unless we sign a top quality player out of the blue.

He has missed lots of matches due to being injured. There is a trend developing.
Nah. Injury prone means his injury history makes him more likely to have similar or related injuries in the future. If he starts having pelvis issues again, or lower body joint/muscle issues that could be related to that injury, then he’ll be becoming injury prone. A freak training accident that requires stitches isn’t that.

He has been first team since he joined, how many games has he missed in that time? He seems to be always fit.

He is always near the top of the stats lists, he's always contributing to important goals (Sunday ffs), he's a leader.

He is incredibly hard working, doesn't lose the ball, flexible, tactically savvy. He's still young, yet incredibly mature.

Creates, tackles, passes well. I actually cannot think of a more well rounded midfielder in world football today.

He is a warrior, Real Madrid can fuck off.

I cannot see any reason why we would consider any sort of offer.

Do I think we should sell him? No. Do I also think he is beyond being upgraded on? Also no. Some people can’t understand why he gets criticism the same way I can’t understand why Bentancur is not rated by some of our fans - it’s horses for courses I suppose. I’ve always appreciated the technicians as opposed to the blood and thunder type of midfielder. I personally don’t think he should be first choice for us as he is too limited on the ball in terms of beating the press (taking the ball in tight spaces, taking on the half turn and making quick decisions) but I appreciate the qualities he does bring to the squad. I also find the ‘Viking warrior’ stuff really cringey, so if I never had to see another ‘Our Viking’ post again I’d be happy

That being said, selling him would be madness with Skipp’s troubles and he seems like a good dressing room presence. Conte obviously likes him so if selling him would displease him then we should not even consider it

I dont see how he is injury prone. Last seasons injury as a result of being overplayed and this seasons a freak accident
And the broken foot before that. Let's see if he gets through this season without a large lay off but the signs aren't good

Think it was telling that Conte took off Bentancur for Bissouma and kept on Hojbjerg. I think he did the same in the last pre-season game too - PEH was the only CM to get the full 90.

Get the feeling that this will be how it is going forward: PEH + 1. He clearly has something that managers love - maybe because he's a leader and organiser? Or perhaps because he's such an all-rounder and can do a bit of everything.
I read it differently, Bentancur had covered every blade of grass on the field and Bissouma was to maintain that energy.

Doubt there's been a fan more critical of him and I maintain the two central midfielders we’ve signed this year have been largely to improve on his deficiencies, but he’s great depth and we’d be foolish to let him go without a reasonable plan.

Big clubs don’t sell first teamers in the first month of the season. PEH is a fantastic midfielder, not pretty on the eye always, but he brings so much to the side. If RM offer extremely silly money then I can see why we would consider it, because we have such good midfielders, but not for me.
