He's technically fantastic. Has an amazing right foot but can see the passes too. Where I've been really impressed is with his improved aggression and tracking on defence.

Him and udogie are such good fits for fullbacks that push into the middle, and they complement each other so well too. Porro can spray about creative passes and crosses and Udogie is a physical beast that can drive and upset opposition with his pace and strength.

It’s been said a few times now, but he’s easily the best RB we’ve had since Walker.
I honestly think he will become better than him if not already. Offers more going forward and improving weekly in defensive play.
Spent the whole match raving about him to the Mrs 😀

Amazing what a decent manager can do for a player. Porro has been excellent in recent weeks - a far cry from his performance against the Barcodes last season under the old regime. In terms of overall improvement in a player I can't think of anyone else in the team who comes close.

We have a fantastic back four now. It goes without saying that we need to plug the gaps when it comes to quality back-ups, however.

Never ceases to amaze me how poor a take it was in saying that playing him here wouldn't work. Well done, me a few months ago, you tit.

Just an excellent player, and excelling in this role. All the vibes of one of those that goes on to be COYS as fuck for the rest of his days too. Top lad.

What can be said about him? He's legit. Making £50M looks a very fair price. Him and Udogie are perfect not just for Ange but top tier technically as footballers.

Matter of time before he starts srsly pushing for the Spain spot imo.

Becoming my favourite Spurs player. His attitude no matter how the rest of the team are playing. He’s always smiling, always trying, always positive, very attacking, very good defensively, and he’s very skilful with the ball at his feet. His work rate for 90+ minutes every game is immense.

that second paragraph just reiterates what an absolute masterclass it was signing Ange. What other manager would make use of those 2 in positions that make zero sense for me. you are essentially playing Udogie and Pedro as midfielders/attackers in our system and it works great.

I think both udogie and porro would really struggle if they were put into a system where they just have to defend in a back 4 and play a standard fullback role as that just isnt their strengths

Absolutely superb performance from Pedro yet again. Typically Spanish player in that he is extremely comfortable on the ball and his short passing is fantastic.

On top of that his work rate is phenomenal and he has a very good eye for a long pass.
Just an all round fantastic player.

I loved his celebration with Ange after the third goal. So passionate and he celebrates winning tackles.

All that pain searching for a RB was worth it for Pedro.

He nutmegged someone at one point and Neville was like "these right backs these days are so good" no Gary - Pedro is the bollox.

He's absolutely brilliant imo. I just wish he wasn't Spanish. It's probably the worst country for a club like ours to have a top young talent from.
