Yes, that's always going to be an issue, whoever plays there. At least Pedro has recovery pace, and Romero on his side for cover, but it's an organisational thing for Ange to fix, rather than an issue with our FBs.He got caught out a bit for the first goal but he was also struggling being tucked in a bit and them getting space wide on that side. We started to stop the supply to the wing more and Sarr did a good job tracking over when Kulusevski was upfield or infield. Once we got control of the situation he grew into the game. I think he's really a player who can develop into a top right back. I can see him scoring a few goals too, strikes it so well but gets into good positions. Coming infield from full back gets him into those angles to shoot.
Just came here to say the same thing. Maybe he'll have some tough defensive battles this season but I just came to say what a job he is doing. Some amazing press resistant play, some great build up. A threat from deep. He's been amazing. Hope it continues!!I thought I was watching Harry playing in Sonny with those passes around the back line. Sonny is so good at timing those runs. I believe Porro will benefit the most from Son playing up top.
That pass for son will possibly be the pass of the season for us. The build up was .That assist for Son was inch perfect and such a beautiful pass.
He's still young enough to improve the defensive side of his game but under Ange, his attacking play is going to be invaluable.
Very talented player, quick, skillful and with a lovely technique.
Probably the player I was most concerned about fitting into the system but the early signs are very encouraging.
Amongst some of the fucking hyperbole on here right now, this rings true to me. He smiles a lot, is clearly enjoying himself, he’s big, strong and quick, with a decent right foot. That should be enough for us right now, no need to invoke fucking de Bruyne or Kane FFS!Great that he’s coming good. A genuine threat and contributes a lot, love his confidence on the ball but his passion shines through for me. He cares, and that counts for a lot
Yeah, I love his attitude and vibes too.Great that he’s coming good. A genuine threat and contributes a lot, love his confidence on the ball but his passion shines through for me. He cares, and that counts for a lot
Funny, I thought he was a tall player but recently I’ve come to notice that he looks like one of the shortest on the team! I think he only has Solomon beat for height.Amongst some of the fucking hyperbole on here right now, this rings true to me.
