I was just going off this.

'What is the nearest airport to Leiria? The nearest airport to Leiria is Lisbon (LIS) Airport which is 111.8 km away. Other nearby airports include Porto (OPO) (166.5 km)."

Didn't look into it that much

PP will have fun getting on the Stansted Express late on a Sunday night.

No he shouldn't be playing the final if he's on the brink of signing for us.

This just doesn't happen.

Not only is the player risking the move but it fucks our plans, and all the work we've put into the deal should anything happen.
Until he signs for us he’s their player so I would expect him to honor his contract with them and be available for selection.
Would you prefer he acted like Gordon at Everton. His boyhood team are in all sorts of trouble, on and off the field, so he decides not to turn up for training because Newcastle are interested in signing him. Is that the sort of character you want around our club/team.

Ruben Dias played for Benfica the day before he was announced as a City player. I reckon this happens more often than we’d think.

What if the player wants to play in the final too?

Anyway, I don’t see the big deal, he’s not going to play against Preston and probably will be on the bench v Man City. It sounds like it’s all done and we’ll announce it after the weekend.

Knowing the way we do these things it’s probably contract until 2027 with the 12 month extension option, so technically both are correct.

Yeah this is done and dusted. Zaniolo or a centre back please to polish the window off. Preferably a centre back.

On Sky Sports now too (as in close, not accounced)

This is SkySports transfer ticker 10 minutes ago ??? ... chaos journalism.

Tottenham and Sporting continue intensive Porro talks

Tottenham and Sporting Lisbon will continue talks today over a deal for Pedro Porro.
Intensive negotiations continued on Thursday and into the late evening.
Spurs are frustrated at Sporting dragging out negotiations.
Sky Sports News understands Spurs are prepared to meet Sporting’s financial demands.
However, Sporting are still not keen to sell him in this transfer window.
He has a £39m (€45m) release clause in his contract.
