Like him a lot. Looks like he’s got a lot of the tools to succeed. And most importantly looks physically ready to mix it. Went shoulder to shoulder with Zaha which isn’t easy and the work on the edge of our box near the end was really good. Impressive cameo.

The lad played 30 games in Ligue 1 last season, and got 8 caps for Senegal in 2022, including coming on twice during the world cup.

Not bad considering he only turned 20 in September.

Really liked what I saw. Nice and tidy on the ball, retained possession, covers the ground well and looks very confident and comfortable. Obviously coming on at 2-0 helps, but I was still really impressed.

Slotted straight in at this level. Looked at home. Looked ready. Really impressive 30 minutes bossing the midfield. I love him already!

Sarr can't go on loan. I would feel confident starting him against Pompey and, if that goes well, more minutes in the Prem.

One less position to worry about.

I hope we do eventually move to three in midfield because I think this kid should be in there and would look great with Bentancur and Kulusevski (who I presume would be the attacking player in a 3).
