Weird that he wasn't signed by a bigger club, he stands out in pretty much every game. Teams should really scout Bundesliga more, but I'm glad that they don't.
It seems like an obvious league to pick up players. We've had Son and Berbatov in the past but not done a lot over the years.

They did one a bit earlier in the season and he was around 5th, so good to see after his injury that he's burning the rubber again

A lot of praise (deservedly) going to Micky. But nothing tops Sherwood’s ringing endorsement of him when he called Micky “wooden” at the start of the season. If Sherwood, with his outstanding football brain, thinks you’re shit, you’re destined for the top:

To answer a couple people saying we should scout Bundesliga more, the main thing is, German's don't really leave Germany.

This also goes for non germans in the league as they all eventually get snagged by Bayern if they are truly top quality.

Sherwood watched Suarez and said he wasn’t good enough. That’s all we need to know

Apart from:

Bellingham
Haaland
Mickey Van De Ven
Heung Min Son
Jadon Sancho (though he’s gone back)
Ibrahim Konate
Firminio

etc etc etc.

Tonnes of good players come from Germany to England. The money is better.

Germany seems to be a league a lot of talented young players go to in order get first team football to develop to get to the level required before moving to a top team.

I think scouting teenagers in Germany might largely be a waste of time as they go there to get first team football. But looking at more developed talent is definitely worthwhile.

Would Mickey be up with Bolt over the first 20-30 metres ?

They found that, 67.13 meters into the race, Bolt reached a top speed of 43.99 kilometers per hour (27.33 miles per hour).

I suspect Bundesliga coaches would get a rough ride if their defenders had so many opportunities to display recovery pace!

We’ve done ok getting players from Germany. Players like Berba, Sonny, VDV and even Werner now. All quality

VDV needs to get chummy with The Cheetah (Dolphins wide receiver, Tyreek Hill) on social. Imagine they could have some funny exchanges over who is the fastest. (which would be tyreek)

Don't see a future barring catastrophic injury where he doesn't end up one of our best ever at the back. His rise is as rapid as he is. Just so calm, and the sheer speed, his physical presence and ability to extend the reach on sliding tackles with a regularity that you just don't see in the game anymore is just *chefs kiss*. A truly special talent, and I just hope that he is one of those that falls in love with club as he could be an absolute legend here if we go on to do a thing.

How is this thread not on the front page?

Anazing performance today, bossed their big CF and still mopped up every stray ball.
