If ever anyone needed factual statistics to disprove Tim Sherwood being unnecessarily harsh about a foreign signing:

When is he going to stop being rude about players coming in from overseas? If a player who’d come through our academy had put in that performance, Tim would be furiously masturbating about how majestic it was.

Nothing but contempt for the clown and his idiotic viewpoints.
I’d sooner listen to my great-great-great-great-grandmother’s opinions on football and, as you can guess, she’s not got great eyesight.
He gets paid to say idiotic things, to elicit reactions. Best thing to do is to ignore him. The less engagement on his content, the less content he will be paid to make.

Closet? Nothing closet about him, everyone knows he's always been an Arsenal fan.

Makes me mad that him and OHara, another gooner, are allowed and even asked to spout their rubbish about Spurs
Call O'Hara a lot of things and I know he was a youth player for them but he always says "we" when talking about Tottenham so he is no gooner that's for sure.

I'd say the Wissa goal is primarily on Emerson for getting too tight to Henry and getting done for pace. He'd already had the warning signs. Henry was their biggest problem for us.
If we get back into Europe and need a second quality LB next season I would absolutely go for Henry. He’s absolutely quality and should have been selected for England months and months ago

Him and Gabbanini have turned the future prospects of this club around completely. Phenomenal job they’ve done so far
Definitely. My one concern with Paratici is similar to what @Timberwolf said in the Lo Celso thread re: Porro: I think Paratici was planning for us to be a back 3 team even if Conte left. And his preferred managers / play style tends towards the more pragmatic or defensive. But, the scouting, profile identification, acquisition speed, and creativity of deals have all been so much better (IMO) under Paratici and Gabbanini. Only one game, but Udogie and VdV as a 20 and 22 year old look incredibly exciting as a left-side pairing.

Where is this guy in the pecking order on the Dutch national team? Timber is out for the season now.

It was a 3 on 3 and Wissa was Sanchez man, but Henry getting past Emerson complicated things.

I think I'm being harsh on VdV actually, as he had his man close enough.

Here is a still from when Henry played the ball. Udogie had sprinted back to get to where he is, so was never going to get to Wissa in time.

In this still Sanchez is in a terrible body position. Might just be where it’s frozen.

He needs to be open as to see the danger and ball.

Well that's him Injured in his first game for them and then our medical team not picking up on it soon enough, so that he then needs surgery and out for the season...then comes back with the speed of Eric Dier 👀

Had a slightly shaky 1st half but like the rest of the team, he grew into the game. Just hope he stays fit during the international break.
