Very telling that he says that Marcus has to walk through the door of his potential and that Norwich, nor anyone else, can carry him through it.

And he's right. If he succeeds at Norwich and grows up and seizes his opportunity, the world is at his feet, but if he doesn't work for this, Norwich wont go tits up. Tottenham won't go tits up. Marcus would regret it.

Might help him long term that a different face is telling him the same thing.

If he listens.

It wouldn't be the first time a player as talented as him doesn't realise their potential. I find it incomprehensible that someone with the world at their feet would let it slip through their fingers because they don't want to try that bit harder. I understand the pressure is massive, maybe he needs more help with that to get him to try and work a bit harder.

Show him porn. Telll him, if he works his ass off, he can fuck whoever whichever way he likes.
If he continue to be a prima donna, tell.him, he still can but as a pornstar

win win for him, no pressure

One of the most bizarre posts I've ever seen on SC, and I've seen @jamesc0le post. You swung for the fences, chap, but you missed.

Ravel Morrison, the best young player Fergie ever had(quote) is now in Mexico. Ferguson, Allardyce and Redknapp all tried with him but to no avail. Sometimes people just won’t be told. Hope Marcus sees the light but they won’t wait forever.

The great players have both but with only one you ain't going to make it, I don't know the story of Marcus but it's not a case af teaching him that or him listening, if he doesn't have it he won't succeed, hopefully it will come with age and hopefully the Norwich loan helps him grow up.
I never had it, I would read a game well but I always waited to see what would happen and prepared for what might happen and I never got through that to where I would go and make something happen and impose myself on a game, I couldn't be taught that because it just wasn't my nature, if that's Edwards' nature I fear he won't play for us.
Good luck Marcus prove me wrong.

Agreed, I was reading a bit about him the other day. He’s still 24 and seemed to have worrying problems with violence, most concerningly against women. Hopefully he has turned a corner, mostly because at the moment all he is famous for is that fucking goal against us!
