Perisic was the plan B, and it was a good plan B. I think he's the biggest loss playing against packed defences.
His unpredictability was perfect in Ange's set up. The ability to hit quality crosses off both feet meant defenders couldn't just push him one way or the other.

This is absolutely true. Ange would have been using him a lot against teams like Wolves who sit back and break. Again, taking him out has definitely effected our play against those low block sides.

I always liked Moura as an option. He was so good creating chaos and worked hard. Soloman seems to be the ideal replacement but it's a shame about the injuries. If theres enough non homegrown space he's a good option next season. This season seems pretty much a write off. Hopefully he gets a couple months spell but will just need to ease back and then be ready for pre season.

The one with the closest attributes to Perisic is probably Kulusevski but he needs to work more going on his right foot. He has the strength and technique to replace what we miss with Perisic but not the ability to go on the outside and needs to work on his crossing.

Like others have said I think his injury’s effect on our season is being underestimated and I think he’d have been a phenomenal option off the bench to cause big problems against defensive systems as he skips past players with absolute ease. Absolutely baffled me when I saw people suggesting Gil was a stronger option than him.

I think he's generally under rated by our fans. I think that was/is the case with all the best players from our second string. To me those are Perisic (was), Manor and Gio. It's much harder to look good when you aren't playing with the best players. I think the League Cup loss to Fulham really unfairly tarnished those 3, as I saw it suggested our backups weren't good enough. But now we've seen that when our first choice players have to play without a few of our other first team players, suddenly they don't look so great either. Gio is the only one who got the opportunity to show he is more than capable. I think Manor will do the same when he's fully fit.

Why? Because he's the size of an umpa lumpa and they're obviously inherently evil creatures? Fair enough, you have to make a stand sometimes

Eh? What on earth for? Surely not because of his nationality. Hope he scores a worldy.

Why would we boo him?!

…and when we say ‘big movement’ are we just referring to a collection of angry virgins on twitter?

You’d be supprised how many of them there are, I’d imagine not so much in stadium but on socials there are some real idiots and quite a lot of them too
