I knew that he was good when we signed him; I didn’t know he was this good. We’ve got one of the best AMs in the league.
Same. He's unbelievable and it's a shame we didn't sign him sooner but glad we have him how. Proper player.

I never knew his dribbling ability was this good. Always knew he was a great passer and striker of the ball, but his mazy dribbling has surprised me.

He's an absolute gem of a player and someone we should have picked up before Leicester.

I hope those that were wrong about JM initially are equally as wrong about BJ. Early days but time to start holding your hands up.

Maddison's passing and Johnson speed should be a pretty tasty combination too, especially if we get pinned back at some point and have to play on the break.

I've always rated him, but as many else are saying, I wasn't expecting performances this good.

For me, it's how well he stands his ground physically that has impressed med the most. He is so much stronger than he looks and so much stronger than most creative players of a similar mould.

Dazzled by this man’s ability to play the ball with the outside of his boot. He’s essentially two-footed without needing to use his left.

So, so good. He’s just got it all, and he’s the perfect Tottenham player.

This may be left field, but I really hope he takes Gil under his wing and helps him along. Very similar stature, quick more than fast, and Gil has shown those light feet that Maddison does. Lot of similarities apart from goal scoring ability, but I would love to see what kind of impact a Maddison-Gil mentorship could do. Random, I know.

He was good at Leicester but he's gone up a couple of notches here. Early days but I think he'll go on to give us more than Eriksen and that's some accolade.
It would annoy us if Bayern fans started saying this about Kane and it annoyed us when Madrid fans said this about Bale even when we knew he had just been doing the same things he was at Spurs

More accurately would be to say he is likely doing the same things in a far better team at spurs.

Why Kane and Bale aren’t at Spurs so are functionally dead to me. Why would I give a shit if Bayern are surprised about how good their new signing is?

Not me. Don’t give a fuck about what other team fans think
