Jesus don’t let our medical team near him. I’d rather he goes to North Mid.

He's a much better character than I thought he was as well. I always pictured him as being a bit cocky and full of himself but he's come across as the complete opposite since he's been here. I know Sonny is now the captain, but it won't be long until Maddison is the face of the club. He's been amazing on and off the pitch
If you (not you you) watch his post-match interviews from Leicester, he always came across as thoughtful and intelligent.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

Didn't like him at Leicester but then why would I? He's an absolute brilliant player and call me old fashioned but I'd rather the opposition fans don't like him either.
He's got everything to make him hero for us, even if he didn't have the talent his work rate and attitude would make him a fan favourite but he's got the talent as well.

Obviously Eriksen was a great player for us and that's a high bar. But on style of play I think Maddison is pretty like for like in how he moves with the ball and sprays passes like Eriksen did but also he seems to carry himself with a bit more authority if that makes sense.
Both wonderful players, I think Maddison is a little more direct.

Maybe it's from the challenge that had him down in the box, right after Martinez done Romero and we should of had a pen....

Maybe that's the injury ...

To think United prioritised Mount and spent massive amounts on signing on fee for Eriksen when they could have had an attacking midfielder with his best years ahead of him.

We are so lucky so many clubs slept on this one.

Been here 2 mins and already dread the thought of him not being available for games. Lovely footballer....touch, passing, awareness. Him and Bissouma look like they will be massive for us.

I find Uniteds recruiting very odd, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of coherence about it. You could say the same about us at times to a degree, but in our case it’s often cheapish punts that are somewhat confusing. United seem to be doing that with monster level fees. For what they have spent it looks very disjointed.

Every so often a player comes along and is born to play for Spurs. Madders is one of them. No learning time. No settling in. It just fits. And I love how he has embraced the heart of our club from day 1.
