Very poor game. Standard a lot lower than the MK Dons - Wycombe game yesterday.

No-one stood out. Clarke not getting on the ball much, when he does he’s cut on to his right and played some poor crosses. He did have one when he drove into the box, cut to his right and it was blocked. While he has decent feet, his delivery and desire has been lacking.

Cirkin was disappointing too. You’d hope he’d stand out, but he’s given the ball away at times, and been generally negative when he’s had space. But Sunderland are up 1 on aggregate so perhaps that’s coached.

Overall, not worth watching, and I’ll give the second half a miss.

Sunderland not great but I’d say Clarke is their best player this half, couple decent runs and looking a lot more confident than previously

Just got an assist, if anything was going to happen it was through him, been running at Wednesdays defence all half

Sunderland go up, with Clarke playing the last half-hour. Championship feels like about the right level for him, maybe they’ll have him back next season. Interestingly ex-Spur Alex Pritchard the best player on the pitch.

Had a great run went past 3 or 4 would have been a classic play off goal. He’s definitely got something about him, better than league 1 for sure. He’s probably a championship player. But if he suddenly came good at 23 I wouldn’t be surprised. Sadly probably be to late for him at Spurs. Although I might be tempted to do a Ccv with him and hope he comes good with a few more loans.

Well done to Sunderland and the lad but Clarke doesn't look that great unfortunately, maybe a Championship player. Maybe a year at that level may kickstart his development now he's a little older? Good to see Alex Pritchard playing well and Dennis Cirkin doing ok.

He's got a new start and I hope it comes good for him.
It was too soon- we gambled and this one didn't pay off- let's hope the next one does pay off for us.
Our scouting should be better as we did miss a few that year
