Err, because they've left it this late? If we have Son's contract expiring in December and we don't offer him anything until November I'm going to say we had other players on our list of priorities to sign/renew...That doesn't make any sense at all. They have offered him a 2 year deal on big money, how is he not a priority for them?
Lucky we have Doherty then who excels at attacking the back post.Feel like we need a really good RWB now who can get into the box and help put chances away. Harry and Deki won’t be able to do it all on their own.
True, hopefully he comes back well from his injury.Lucky we have Doherty then who excels at attacking the back post.
It was in his hands to choose where he wants to be and chose us! They wanted him and offered him a new contract, so it was a priority for them.Right, fair. But it clearly wasn't a top priority for them, and that's why we're here.
He could but he won't, he doesn't like to play on the right side. Maybe if both RWBs were injured. Can Perisic play RWB too?
Perhaps we’re looking at:
LWB - Sess, Perisic
RWB - Perisic, Spence
Buon appetito???I’m convinced he will stay at inter. Hopefully I’ll be eating these words.
Can see Doherty being exceptional for us next season in all honesty. I have faith in him
Agreed. He was thriving in contes system prior to his injury. Can see Doherty being exceptional for us next season in all honesty. I have faith in him
It does yes but we also clearly need a lot more than that to really challenge for stuff in my opinion. We still have a couple of positions we really could improve on (central midfield, RWB and a backup forward)
Would've loved this guy 3-4 years ago, but struggling to see how he copes with the fast paced PL at the age he is now. Kostic over Perisic for me. Onions
