I agree with this. I’m ready for Eriksen to go and while Lo Celso freshens that position up, it doesn’t add any depth.

We need options. If Eriksen goes and Lo Celso comes in, we still need at least 1 more playmaker or wide forward.

Which is why I think the optimism should be tempered until we see how this all plays out...we need to add quality to the quality we already have not rob Peter to pay Paul....

Allegedly keen to come to spurs too.

Haven’t seen an article stating an actual player is keen to come to us for a while lol.

Do people think he’s any good?

Always a risk I guess as he’s quite young and Spanish league a lot different to English one but he seems a decent player and will give us some options if Eriksen goes.

Transfermarkt list as a central midfielder as primary position (attacking midfielder secondary) so could allow us to play more of a 4-3-3 also?

Oh we'd find a way

After a 4-1 home loss to City:

"The problem with Poch's new 4-2-2-3-1 is space. The players just keep getting in each others way - Ndombele even tackled Sissoko at one point. It's back to the drawing board for Spurs after this display."

No mate, Problem with this Poch 4-2-2-3-1 is twelve outfield players excluding the keeper which make 13!
Yeah with that 13 players they will get in each other's way and we may need a bigger drawing board

Fantastic vision and awareness of his team mates movement around him. Here he turns his man, takes a touch inside and finds his team mate with ease. He seems to be extremely quick of thought, he’s very rarely ponderous on the ball which I believe we lack. View attachment 51249 View attachment 51250
