Maybe I’m crazy, but in a dream world where we get Ndombele and keep Eriksen I’d rather put funds towards AWB and a holding midfielder (Berge) than one huge chunk on Lo Celso.

I agree that if we could keep Eriksen, one top class CM, one holder like Berge, and a right back makes sense. However, if it had to be one or other, I’d far prefer Lo Celso to N’Dombele.

If CE stays, we will still try to finalise both (cross fingers and all that)

If Eriksen stays I hope its because he wants to; signs a new deal and isn't planning on running his contract down for a Madrid move next year.

I just hope that if CE goes then we bring those plus another creative AM/CM.

It’s absolutely essential that we do, even if it is a younger, slightly less proven/experienced player. We need more than one creative outlet in the squad ( and please god nobody mention Lamela).

Fantastic vision and awareness of his team mates movement around him. Here he turns his man, takes a touch inside and finds his team mate with ease. He seems to be extremely quick of thought, he’s very rarely ponderous on the ball which I believe we lack.

He looks like he would link up well Dele and Son, who often make good early runs that are seldom spotted.

We’re not keeping Eriksen. Lo Celso is ? his replacement.
I do want us to get AWB tho.
Signing those three would be seriously good, even if we lose CE

I can’t for the life of me work out what formation we are playing next season !

It’s a tough concept to grasp, but if we have more than 11 fit players we could try different formations for different opponents.

Apparently this is something other clubs do, some to considerable success!

I’m sceptical, but willing to see how it might work if we actually sign some players...

I actually think they could be somewhat dependent on each other. But not in the way you’d think. Just my guess, but I think Eriksen has been frustrated with our lack of signings. Additionally because of this I think the style of football has been a mixed bag at best and he wants to play in a team that plays attractive stuff. If we sign Ndombele and Lo Celso, Eriksen could well want to stay.
