Mmm. Considering it was "all agreed verbally" last Saturday... they sure are taking their time doing the paperwork.

The thing is other clubs strengthened last season, We didn't so I would have hoped that in light of that we'd get our business done early & Get them settled etc. Now this is not a dig at the club... My original point was we've signed the sum of one player but so many feel we've had a brilliant window when in actual fact only one player was signed.

so you would rather us not buy Poch players?

Lo Celso was with Argentina just after the window opened and no way do you pay 88m without trying to get him for a price he is rated at. He is now on Holiday, and is due back to whatever club he is at on Monday.

Sessengnon was injured after the U21 comp, so whats the point of paying a player that's been on holiday and not fit enough to train

Fair enough if there’s a shed load of paperwork to do but a week ago all the ITK’s were very excited, now they’ve all gone relatively quiet which is never a good sign.

Sticking to their price is hardly playing silly buggers

There was clearly the suggestion something happened over the weekend (verbally agreed ITK) and we expected him to be heading over for a medical this week after Fekir signed, now either them or Levy have moved the goalposts, hence silly buggers.

I highly doubt Herc would be putting his hands on the line if we are still £20m out on price like they are saying?

It was pretty quiet before Ndombele was announced.

Seems like ITK jumped the gun, as this one clearly isn't being completed this week
Don’t think they have. Why announce/complete when GLO is still on holiday. He’s allowed some days before embarking on a major change in his career.

Quite disappointed that this move and the one for Sessegnon are still dragging on
Yep. Was hugely promising a few weeks back when we signed Ndombele and although we still have 2 weeks to go that deadline is coming quick.

Still a shit load of work to do and it's looking like an end of the window jobber. Again.

Exactly. The club are round the other side of the World, LoCelso is recouperationg after Copa America and I'm sure we'll be well aware of any developments. He's not missing anything he could have realistically have been a part of and Levy is letting the pressure build up on Betis since they've signed Fekir.

I think you completely missing the original point of my post Lighty . It's not impatience over signings. It's trying to fathom how posters are sooo excited with our business thus far when only 1 player has been added. As things stand for this season it's one player... I don't get excited by who we might sign or who we interested in.

We all know Los Celso was at Copa America... (BTW using a international tournament as a yardstick Ceballos having been on international duty has signed for the scum.) So I get that he'd have his holiday 1st. Sessegnon is not an immediate impact. I see him as o e for the future.

I don't get excited by what might be.. I want to see the player holding up the shirt.

It will happen just replied to another poster whose reminded us that Poch/Levy and PR guys were all in Asia. So very likely from here that it will speed up now.

The end of the window wasn’t just around the corner when we signed NDombele. The longer deals take the greater the risk of something going pear shaped. There’s still a reasonable amount of days left but we’ve still got 4 gaping holes in the squad (RB, LB, ACM, match winner).

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.

At least the window ends earlier...
