Cant see us buying two CM's unless Eriksen leaves. So I think this one is secondary to Ndombele. I wouldnt waste time following this until the Ndombele saga pans out. Which will take ages as Lyon are obviously waiting for the inevitable PSG move and Levy faffs around counting his pocket change.

Ndombele should be the replacement for Dembele and we need another player to play the Eriksen position even if he stays as he plays far too many games.

I want to see a YOLO line up with Lo Celso, Ndombele, Eriksen in midfield with Son, Kane and Dele up top.

Good luck parking the bus against that Burnley.

Dyche would implode with rage and self righteous bitterness. There’d be bits of his gammon face all over the VAR box

Good to have your nonsense back in these threads

My extremely informed & respected opinion, you mean. :cautious:

I've had my world class life distraction (my youngest daughter) since Friday, so she's kept my head where it needs to be for a few days. Gotta drop her home soon though & then its back to being shit again.

Watching Lo Celso now against Qatar, 15 minutes gone and he has given the ball away three times and blazed over the bar from 8 yards out. Early to judge however not an impressive start.

True, though he's also had a couple of nice little bits of quick interplay on the edge of the box, which is the kind of thing we're often lacking.

He's been pretty bright the last 10 mins.

I really like him and have done for a while. Tenacious and made for the PL.

Juan Foyth also playing.
Argentina do tend to look for GLC which is promising, given they could just look for Messi.

Not been great watching so far, but GLC looks frequently to get involved and looks to play a mixture of passes that you would expect of someone being compared to CE.

Yeah he does remind me of Eriksen a bit. From the highlights I've seen of Betis he likes to take on players with the ball and is a bit more tenacious, which isn't like Eriksen at all, but for Argentina his role is quite reminiscent of how CE played for us last season - linking play in midfield, putting in crosses and making occasional forays further forward. Decent range of passing too.

Qatar also look surprisingly not-shit.
