Announcement vids now seem to be more than just letting people know this club have signed this player. It's about getting as much publicity traction as possible. Sky was just the other day Auba's recontract signing was swiftly eclipsed by news of Bale.

Now that Pool are getting Thiago, I reckon we will wait for the most opportune moment to announce Bale to avoid getting overshadowed by the their announcement of Thiago.

Already the Thiago news is the trending one now.

Bale is a much bigger signing that Thiago. He's just a technically gifted midfielder to be lifted and shifted into another elite team.

Kane is too isolated and when he drops down to create we lack a threat in the box. If we put bale centrally he can link up with Harry and also take his place when Harry wants to get involved in the build up.

Seems unlikely but if that’s the case, good on Levy for sanctioning such an outlay.

Ultimately it’ll all be conjecture, all we’ll know about the deal is perm or loan and how long for. Neither club will release the financial details.
