Only an hour from Torrey Pines. Lovely.

I confess, this makes me quite sad, even though I am chuffed that he's enjoying his success.

Bale can still absolutely play at a top 6-8 winger in the world level. Watch him for Wales or even for us under Mou. His finishing, movement, interplay, and simply put class are still elite. His ballstriking as a left footed winger might be GOAT level, in all seriousness.

But Madrid just killed his love for the game, it's utterly tragic. Struggled with injury as well, but he's only 32! He should absolutely be contributing to titles and CLs still. Even now I still discuss the what if we kept Bale scenario under Poch, with Kane and Son.

It does hurt to see a guy with his passion and commitment reduced to this.

Come on lets not feel too bad for him. Numerous honours for the worlds biggest club, remained a national legend, 10s of millions in the bank...

I'm sure he's gutted.

not the place I would go for fitness since MLS finishes nearly 2 months before the World Cup ??‍♂️
Wouldn’t surprise me if he is loaned to Cardiff before the start of their season so he is ready for the WC. He gets to play, LA pay the fees and he comes back after the WC for their pre season.

My friend works for the club (LAFC) and told me a couple of days ago that they were signing someone massive and I initially thought neymar as he said he wanted to go to MLS but man oh man, I'm jazzed it's bale. I only got to see him play once against LA galaxy in a preseason game the summer he was sold. Truly epic I get to see him again before he retires. Whether you think the MLS is a joke or not players like Bale help put bum in seats and will help with the game over here getting kids into it

Regular season ends October 9 and then you have playoffs with the MLS cup final on November 5. Since LAFC is already top of the table before Bale, there's a good chance he'll be playing in the final.

also on this note, my friend said since him and Chielini are both non designated players apparently LAFC are in for another massive player to be the DP player, possibly take over for Vela..... Wonder who else is available that would fit that role of possibly being aging or just out of contract that would like 500k per week hahahahh

I guess this shouldn't be a great surprise as a while before coming back to us on loan he was heavily linked to a move to MLS or China. As another poster said, he still has the ability to play in the Premier League if he had wanted to.

Used to watch this vid at least once a month. My favourite ever spurs player along with Sonny

Amazing career

Almost brings a tear to my eye. I dont think I've ever seen a better individual season from a Spurs player. He was incredible. At his peak, probably the best I've seen for us.

Loved the first freekick against Lyon, I was directly behind it and could see the exact path it took, as it dipped down it swerved away from the keeper as he dived for it, so was never gonna save it.
