Remember how much time he spent fixing his hair when he was here the first time? Now look at the length of it. Photo shoot could go through the night.

And then there's the photoshop afterwards. Do you know how long it takes to clone hair to cover up the bald spot?

The average American still don’t care about football (“soccer”), right..?!

More care now than in the past, but for the most part, yeah. I have a small circle of friends who are rabid, but beyond that, any footy related posts i do on social media are met with "who's that you're talking about?" or some such.

soccer is more popular than its ever been here but no an EPL transfer isn’t gonna be breaking news. Maybe if it was Messi or Ronaldo. The Bayern Schalke game is on ESPN right now so it might make the halftime show but that’s only because a soccer game is on.

And lol at whoever said 90% of Americans don’t know who Alex Morgan is that’s some bullshit

All about maximum global coverage on social media. Why do you think Morgan was done just now? Time difference reasons to get the most out of it.
I just think the timing is what doesn't matter. The people who get the news on social media will get it in their feed - it'll be there whenever they get around to looking or when they get notification. They don't have to all get it at the optimum time, i don't think that's important anymore? it's not like you want to get it into the evening edition of the newspaper, or 6 o'clock news or people wont see it until tomorrow?

And i'm in LA, furthest time away from UK. you can argue an optimum time for me to see morgan news was when i was eating breakfast looking through news 4 hours ago... not at 11.30 when i was in work meetings.

But anyway, all good stuff, whatever the news release timing reasons!

90% of Americans don’t even know who she is. Just being honest.

Thats....just not true. There are certain names that people recognize despite not following the sport in question. Even people who consider themselves "above sports" and act like anyone who watches is intellectually and emotionally inferior still know these names.

Kobe.
Tiger.
Brady.
LeBron
Serena
etc

Alex Morgan is one of those people, at least in my experience.

I applied for an apprenticeship at a financial marketing company which covered the US market. They wanted us from 6pm til overnight. Trust me. The timing absolutely matters.
