It is not strange at all. Gervinho is a player he used to work with at Lille, and he had success with him. If you know how to use Gervinho in the formation, you get a very good player. The fact is that he is a very good player. Surprisingly Wenger didn't know how to use him, but considering the team Arsenal have now, it seems like he has lost some of his sharpness when it comes to signings and using the best team. I am happy to see that, because that will give us the edge. (I actually think that Arsenal had won the match vs Aston Villa if he still had Gervinho and used him right).

I'm sorry mate, just can't see Gervinho as that good a player. I think it's madness that he's prepared to play him above Lamela, one of the best emerging talents in the world in that position (if rumour is true). He's not an awful player, otherwise he wouldn't have gotten that good of a record in Ligue 1, but I can't help feel that he didn't have the ability to step up to the next level. We'll see how he gets on at Roma but I just don't think he'll set the Serie A alight.

For now there is no agreement and they will go back to Italy. There is another but he has posted which says that we have offered 30million euros and they want 35million euros. I hope we don't fluff about on this one but if we sell Bale, I am sure that will not happen.
