Never been sent off.He runs around a lot and tries hard for sure.
Gets a yellow and then he's on a tightrope.
He does this about 10 times a season.
Hip replacement?
Mrs Jimmy never played again since hers.
Oh sorry....
There are three players who’s heads never drop and intensity never drops in the team. Hojberg, Aurier and Lamela those are the guys Jose would like in the trenches when the fixtures pile up.
Never been sent off.
That's smart
I would do but I think sometimes he needs to show more responsibility and I do see him shirking challenges. However in terms of heart and running he does have it.You need to include Sissoko in that.
Some would argue the smart thing would be to not get booked. The issue with players like Lamela on a yellow is it robs them of their aggression and intensity and let's face it, that's pretty much all he has.
were you complaining about that booking against utd? Some would argue the smart thing would be to not get booked. The issue with players like Lamela on a yellow is it robs them of their aggression and intensity and let's face it, that's pretty much all he has.
I suspect many have been blinded by his commitment to the team and the effort he puts in when he does play. I see a wholehearted player who gives of his best but continually runs into blind alleys and fails to release the ball early enough on far too many occasions.
I think it’s unfair to say that’s pretty much all he has. He generally attacks well, defends well, passes well and reads the game well. He’s a solid all rounder without being outstanding at anything (accept for intensity and aggression as you rightly pointed out)
You mean the fact people still mention his yellow cards like he's walking a tightrope? Its a bit shocking when you realize he was never sent off for us
I agree he's smarter than he looks. Not smart enough to stay fit though. I accept he may be extremely unlucky but I've had enough.
