I know he’s a player that really divides opinion, but I love Lamela. If this is true and if he goes I’ll always remember him for his crazy eyes, his Tasmanian Devil sub appearances and his rabona goals. If his injuries weren’t so persistent, I think he would have become a helluva player that was universally admired.

Certainly can beat a man and crossing looks good too. Be interesting to see how he copes with PL.

Lamela seems to be one of the few that actually has some suitors. Not surprising, his attitude and desire is still sth I rate very highly.

Lamela is average people love him because he kicks people. Blokes always injured and when he isn't he rarely produces. We need better quality players
If other players put in the effort he does every game we wouldn't lose so many late goals. Whenever he played he always gave 100%, injured or not and I cannot fault him for that. He went in for tackles, he understood the derbies. His passion for the club and football is something I wish other players in our squad had.

Had some incredible moments for the club I'll never forget; the two rabonas, his ability to commit 80 fouls a game and only receive a yelow, and stamping on Fabregas' hand to name a few.

He never really pushed on the way we thought he would, fitness and reliability obviously a massive issue with him so for me it's the right time for him to go - especially if we're replacing him with a player of a similar ilk with a likely higher potential.

Thanks for the memories and those crazy eyes, Coco <3

Noting to say but that I will miss the dirty bastard. His getting into Wilshere's face and calling him a pussy was almost worth a trophy. I hope he knows he always has a home with us.

One downside here is betting accumulators become much more tricky, you would have to think about predicting goals, number of corners and that sort of thing but ticking the box to say “Lamela to be booked” always meant you were in with a chance.

Sad day for me and my avi.

Goodbye sweet Prince.

I'm definitely sad to see this guy go. Perfect blend of unbridled passion and fight, mixed with flare and unpredictability. Absolutely loved the guy. We'll never find a squad player who plays the last 30 seconds of a sub appearance in a league cup match, like it's the last seconds of his career.

Hope he finds some success in Sevilla. I'll definitely be following his progress.

If only he’d been given a chance.
If only his body has been given a chance. Just so unlucky with injuries. ?

Will miss him so much. I think he's the player I would really hate to leave the club although I think he should be moved on if we all have the chance.. Bittersweet.

Lamela always had the ability, but his body for whatever reason just kept breaking down and he couldn't get into any kind of run or rhythm. I, for one, will wish him well and hope he can settle and get the run of games I know he needs. Maybe a less physical league is perfect for him at this point.

I absolutely love this man, his level of passion for playing for Spurs is not something I have seen from many.

He's wonderfully talented as well, just never able to have that breakout season where he gets 15 goals himself, that said watch any compilation of Kane's goals or Alli's or Sons and he's right there making stuff happen.

I wish him all the luck in the world.
